My friend Sam Householder, who is also the assistant photo editor for the Daily News, and I are getting together today to write a script for a podcast that I've been planning for a little bit. The premise of the podcast is to be a news comedy thing. Sorta like the Daily Show, or more closely, The Bugle podcast; which I'm sure no one has checked out. But hey, I'm not here to judge. Anyway, when we get it recorded and up I'll be sure to post a link and you can hear Sam and I making fun of Ball State and world news. Hopefully it turns out well.

Be careful about making fun of Ball State - sometimes your humor can be taken the wrong way (I'm speaking from experience.) Remember when you thought you were not out of line this summer? Remember to "dance with the one who brought you here" and not speak unfavorably (at least publicly) about your allies. Your future employer may be watching and might think twice about hiring someone who jokes publicly about private matters:)
ReplyDeleteI won't be commenting on private matters
ReplyDeleteI say go ahead and bash. It was a pastime to make fun of our campus at OCU. But then again, OCU was a joke. I don't know much about Ball State.
ReplyDeleteIt's more like making fun of the news coming out of Ball State, not Ball State itself. However, sometimes that could be making fun of Ball State
ReplyDeleteI knew what you meant. I was just reliving old memories. :)
